01 — Agreement

Your agreement with Renqore

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Renqore, operated by Tafadzwa Mandeya ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Renqore platform — including the web application, API, and any related services — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Renqore. Continued use of the platform after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

02 — Definitions

When used throughout these Terms, the following words carry the meanings defined below.

03 — Eligibility

Who can use Renqore

You may use Renqore if you meet all of the following conditions:

• You are at least 16 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• You have not previously had an account terminated for a violation of these Terms.

Renqore is currently in a beta phase. Access may be limited or invite-based at our discretion.

04 — Account

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. This applies whether your account uses Google OAuth or an email and password combination.

• Keep your credentials confidential. Do not share your login details with anyone else.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Ensure the information you provide during registration is accurate and kept up to date.
• You may only hold one account. Creating duplicate accounts is not permitted.

05 — Acceptable Use

What you may and may not do

Renqore is provided for personal, non-commercial job search and career exploration. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others.

You must not:

• Use the Platform to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, or offensive.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Platform in bulk or in an automated fashion without prior written consent.
• Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its infrastructure or interfere with other users' access.
• Attempt to circumvent quota limits, authentication, or any security measure on the Platform.
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate any other person or entity.
• Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
• Use AI Output for purposes that could cause harm to others, including submitting fabricated information in job applications.

06 — Your Data

Ownership & use of your content

You retain ownership of all Content you submit to the Platform — including your CV, career description, and chat prompts. By submitting Content, you grant Renqore a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not sell, license, or otherwise share your Content with third parties for commercial purposes. Your Content is used only to generate responses and job results for you.

• Your CV text is stored in our database and referenced only when generating your search results and AI responses.
• Conversation history, including all prompts and model responses, is stored against your account and is accessible only to you.
• You can delete your CV at any time from Settings, or delete all data permanently by deleting your account.

07 — AI-Generated Content

Understanding AI Output

Renqore's responses are generated by a large language model. While we work to make these responses useful and relevant, AI Output is provided for informational purposes only.

• AI Output may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We make no warranty as to its accuracy.
• Job listings are retrieved from external sources. Renqore is not responsible for the content, legitimacy, or availability of any listed role.
• Apply links are provided as-is. We do not screen, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party employer or recruitment platform.
• You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI Output or Job Results.

08 — Privacy

How we handle your information

Your privacy matters. Renqore collects only the information necessary to operate the service. We do not serve advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.

Data we collect and hold includes:

Account data name, email address, hashed password, and account creation date. Usage data request counts used to enforce daily quotas. No granular analytics are stored. Conversation data your chat history, AI responses, and attached job results. Settings data model instructions, career description, and extracted CV text.

All data is stored on a private MongoDB database. Connections are encrypted in transit using TLS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — we never store plaintext passwords.

09 — Service Availability

Uptime, quotas & limitations

Renqore is a beta service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the Platform may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or at our sole discretion at any time.

• Daily request quotas apply per account and across the platform as a whole. These exist to ensure fair access for all users during the beta period.
• Conversations have a context length limit. When this limit is reached, you will be prompted to start a new conversation. Past conversations remain accessible.
• We reserve the right to adjust quota limits, features, or access tiers at any time without prior notice.
• Service interruptions due to upstream provider outages (e.g. the AI model provider) are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of these Terms.

10 — Disclaimer & Liability

Limits of our responsibility

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Renqore and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI Output or Job Results.
• Unauthorised access to your account or data.
• Any third-party content, job listings, or links accessed via the Platform.
• Loss of data resulting from account deletion, whether initiated by you or by us under these Terms.

In jurisdictions where limitations of liability are not permitted, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

11 — Termination

Ending your account

Either party may end the relationship at any time.

By you: You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This will permanently and irreversibly erase all data associated with your account — conversations, settings, CV, and job results. Deletion takes effect immediately.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Platform, or acted in a way that harms other users or the integrity of the service. We will endeavour to provide notice where practical, but are not obligated to do so.

12 — Changes to Terms

How we update these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will be revised. For material changes, we will endeavour to provide notice via the Platform.

Your continued use of Renqore after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may delete your account.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction agreed upon by both parties in good faith.
